1. The procedures allow physicians to place sutures in the upper gastrointestinal tract with a flexible endoscope.
2. The registry will collect outcomes of all procedures performed with Apollo’s OverStitch Endoscopic Suturing System.
3. Apollo included eight advanced endobariatric centers in its study. Madrid, Spain-based University Hospital HM Sanchinarro’s Director of the Bariatric Endoscopy Unit Department Gontrand Lopez-Nava, MD, will serve as primary investigator.
4. Physicians will be able to access the registry to submit and view patient outcome data.
