AGA, Asociación Mexicana de Gastroenterología to host joint symposium for Mexican Gastroenterology Week: 3 notes

Two physicians associated with the American Gastroenterological Association are slated to present at Semana Nacional de Gastroenterología, or Mexican Gastroenterology Week, Nov. 22 in Mazatlán, Mexico.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. The two physicians are Paul Moayyedi, MD, PhD, and Anne Marie Lennon, MD, PhD.

2. The physicians will present at a symposium hosted by AGA and the Asociación Mexicana de Gastroenterología, titled “Cystic Pancreatic Lesions.”

3. Both physicians will present on the guidelines on the diagnosis and management of asymptomatic neoplastic pancreatic cysts. Dr. Moayyedi, a fellow of the AGA, will present on pros of the guidelines and Dr. Lennon will present on the cons of the guidelines.
