The American College of Gastroenterology entered into a strategic collaboration with HMP, a healthcare event and education company.

Here’s what you should know.

1. HMP and ACG are working together to market HMP’s Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Conference, Dec. 13 to Dec. 14 in Orlando, Fla. They will also partner for other educational offerings throughout the year.

2. Specifically, HMP will create the meeting’s educational program, while ACG will make HMP a preferred provider of education for its members.

3. ACG President Irving M. Pike, MD, said, “The college looks forward to this educational partnership with HMP. Together, ACG and HMP are committed to excellent educational programs that advance treatment of IBD, one of the most significant clinical challenges for [gastrointestinal] specialists.”
