1. Colorectal cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths for men and women in the U.S.

2. The expected number of new colon cancer cases in 2023 is 106,970.

3. The expected number of new colon cancer cases in 2023 is 46,050.

4. The lifetime risk of developing colorectal cancer is approximately 1 in 23 for men and 1 in 26 for women.

5. From 2011 to 2019, colorectal cancer rates dropped by about 1 percent each year.
