Here are five gastroenterologists who recently made headlines.

Xiaosong Song, MD, a gastroenterologist practicing at Canton-Potsdam (N.Y.) Hospital earned recognition through the American Gastroenterological Association’s Bridge to Excellence Program.

Gastroenterologist Albert Crevello, MD, is ending his practice after 39 years.

Ting-Hui Hsieh, MD, is now practicing at the Reno, Nev., office of Gastroenterology Consultants.

The American Board of Internal Medicine granted Kyle Eliason, MD, board certification in gastroenterology and hepatology.

This month, American Gastroenterological Association Institute President Michael Camilleri, MD, traveled to Capitol Hill to advocate for the specialty.
