4 things to know about Kansas City VA Medical Center’s new head of endoscopy Dr. Ahmed Saeed

Kansas City (Kan.) VA Medical Center appointed Ahmed Saeed, MD, head of endoscopy, Bahrain News Agency reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Saeed earned his medical degree from Manama, Bahrain-based Arabian Gulf University. He completed a residency at Detroit-based Henry Ford Hospital and a fellowship at Philadelphia-based Temple University.

2. He began practicing at the medical center in 2017.

3. In addition to his new role, Dr. Saeed will serve as an assistant professor at Lawrence-based Kansas University.

4. Dr. Saeed is also a consultant at Kansas City (Kan.) Gastroenterology and Hepatology Physician Group.
