2 GI physicians making headlines this week

Here are two gastroenterologists in the news this past week.

The American Gastroenterological Society and Gilead Sciences awarded Brian DeBosch, MD, PhD, its Research Scholar Award in Liver Disease at Digestive Disease Week 2016. Dr. DeBosch is using the award to fund research on the “hepatic determinants of metabolic diseases, including non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.”

Reno, Nev.-based Gastroenterology Consultants welcomed James Doyle, MD. Dr. Doyle underwent his gastroenterology fellowship at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. He also completed fellowship training at St. Louis University Medical Center.
