Here are the 16 states with the lowest colorectal cancer screening rates, based on the American Cancer Society’s report “Colorectal Cancer: Facts & Figures 2017-2019.”

The data is based on colorectal cancer screening rates in adults at least 50 years old. The data source is the CDC, based on information gathered in 2014. The 16 states with the lowest CRC screening rates are:

1. Wyoming: 58 percent
2. Oklahoma: 59 percent
3. Alaska: 61 percent
4. Arkansas: 62 percent
5. Idaho: 62 percent
6. Illinois: 62 percent
7. Mississippi: 62 percent
8. Nevada: 62 percent
9. Indiana: 63 percent
10. Montana: 63 percent
11. New Mexico: 63 percent
12. Texas: 63 percent
13. Missouri: 64 percent
14. North Dakota: 64 percent
15. Nebraska: 65 percent
