Remote cardiology platform developer closes $65M financing round

AliveCor, an artificial intelligence-focused cardiology device developer, closed a $65 million series E financing round, the company announced Nov. 16.

The round was led by five previous investors.

AliveCor is using the proceeds from the round to grow its remote cardiology platform in the U.S. and around the world. The platform uses an AI-powered electrocardiogram and telehealth services to allow for remote monitoring.

The company has recorded more than 85 million ECG deployments to date.
