The American College of Cardiology and MedAxiom are collaborating on a cardiovascular care initiative as a part of the ACC’s five-year, strategic, care-improvement plan, with a focus on the development of cardiovascular ASCs.
According to an April 10 news release, the collaboration will focus on expanding access to ASCs within community settings and “reducing [the need] for hospital-based services while offering more cost-effective care options.” It also includes implementation strategies for creating more AI-enabled systems for cardiac care.
The series will also include new architectural designs tailored to operational and clinical needs, patient populations and nonclinical determinants of health alongside implementation strategies for addressing team-based care optimization and appropriate settings of care.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
