Kansas hospital opening expanded surgery center

Winfield, Kan.-based William Newton Hospital plans to hold a grand opening ceremony for its expanded H.L. Snyder Medical Foundation Surgical Center March 8, NewsCow reports.

The surgery center expansion is the first phase of the hospital’s Second Century Campaign, a long-term plan to expand the hospital’s facilities. 

The expansion added a cardiac catheterization lab, which allows the hospital’s cardiologist to provide office consultations and follow-up appointments.
