CardioOne earns private equity backing

Private equity company WindRose Health Investors has acquired Houston-based CardioOne.

CardioOne, which launched in 2023, helps cardiologists transition to value-based care with technology and administrative assistance. 

WindRose has committed up to $100 million in funds to facilitate growth for CardioOne, which plans to use the funds to expedite its next expansion phase, according to a March 4 news release from WindRose. 

CardioOne’s existing management team will retain business leadership and maintain active shareholding, according to the release.

In September, CardioOne partnered with three independent cardiology practices in New Jersey, Florida and Pennsylvania, according to a report from Global Data
