Here are seven new cardiology practice openings and expansions since July 1, 2025:

1. UK HealthCare’s Gill Heart & Vascular Institute in Lexington, Ky., opened a new heart catheterization lab for adults with congenital heart disease and children at Kentucky Children’s Hospital, also in Lexington.

2. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia expanded its pediatric heart care services with a new cardiology clinic in Reading, Pa. The clinic will operate monthly and offer cardiology evaluations and noninvasive testing, including electrocardiography, Holter tests and echocardiography.

3. Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del., launched its cardiovascular institute to expand integrated heart, vascular and lung care across Sussex County. It builds on Beebe’s existing facilities and procedures, including minimally invasive treatments like valve replacement and stroke prevention for patients with atrial fibrillation.

4. Parris Cardiovascular Center opened its second clinic in Baton Rouge, La. y. The practice purchased the 22,000-square-foot building for $1.25 million in October 2024.

5. After several months of delays, Bad Axe, Mich.-based McLaren Thumb Region — part of Grand Blanc, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care — opened its newly expanded cardiology center.

6. Carilion Roanoke (Va.) Memorial Hospital, part of Carilion Clinic, completed an expansion that consolidated cardiology services into a new facility. It includes catheterization and electrophysiology labs, surgery, imaging, intensive care and recovery.

7. UC Davis Health and WellSpace Health, both based in Sacramento, Calif., partnered to expand heart failure care for high-risk patients through new community-based clinics.

The collaboration began with the launch of a clinic at WellSpace’s Oak Park health center in Sacramento, part of the Specialty Connect program that brings UC Davis specialists into community settings. Physician assistants from WellSpace completed eight weeks of training at the UC Davis Heart Failure Clinic before the site opened. A second clinic has since opened in Citrus Heights, Calif., with both locations offering follow-up care, medication management, lab work and patient education.
