Vantage mHealthcare changes name, reports on breath sensor technology: 5 observations

Vantage mHealthcare will change its name to Nano Mobile Healthcare to reflect the direction of the company within the mobile healthcare technology sector.

Here are five observations:

1. Vantage mHealthcare does not want its name to be confused with other businesses bearing the "Vantage" name.

2. The company has been developing a screening device that will detect human breath components to catch chronic diseases likes heart failure and cancer earlier.

3. The sensor connects via Bluetooth to smart devices running an iOS or Android system.

4. The current Breathalyzer is composed of the breath capture device, sensor module and software for smart devices.

5. This device is collecting sample data from test patients for key biomarkers in a clinical setting.

"The sensor and related devices will ultimately be used to demonstrate an integrated approach that can be used to collect data from human breath and evaluate if for early disease screening purposes…," said Joseph C. Peters, president of Vantage mHealthcare.
