Here’s what you should know.
1. The center will be 85,000 square feet and will feature two operating rooms, an expanded emergency department, 14 observation beds, offices and a helipad.
2. The hospital organization plans to break ground in March 2017 with a late 2018 completion date projected.
3. The helipad will transfer patients to the hospital in case of emergencies.
4. The hospital organization said depending on future growth the area could accommodate up to four medical office buildings, an urgent care center and a parking garage.
