Envision Healthcare’s physician services division acquires Alabama Neonatal Medicine: 3 highlights

Greenwood, Colo.-based Envision Healthcare’s physician services division acquired Alabama Neonatal Medicine in Montgomery.

Here are three highlights:

1. The deal will compliment Envision’s current neonatal programs throughout the state in Huntsville, Mobile and Dothan.

2. Four physicians comprise Alabama Neonatal Medicine and provide care at neonatology units throughout Montgomery.

3. On Dec. 1, 2016, Nashville, Tenn.-based AmSurg and Envision shareholders approved the companies’ merger.
