Washington’s Rockwood Clinic to Merge ASC Into Deaconess Medical Center

Rockwood Clinic in Spokane, Wash., will merge its surgery center into Deaconess Medical Center, also located in Spokane, according to Rockwood Clinic and a report in The Spokesman-Review.

The merger, accomplished by relocation of the surgery center, is part of an integrated healthcare delivery system developed jointly by Rockwood Clinic, Deaconess Medical Center and Valley Hospital and Medical Center, all under the ownership of Community Health Systems.

Rockwood is relocating six medical office sites and two surgical locations in what it describes as the “first advancements” of the integrated system.
