Columbus-based The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center broke ground on its $26 million outpatient surgery unit and imaging suite at East Hospital in Columbus, Fox28 reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The new wing will house four operating rooms, including a hybrid operating room for interventional radiology procedures. The space will also have pre- and postoperative anesthesia care units, an imaging suite, waiting rooms and a consultation room.

2. The new wing will be 40,300 square feet.

3. Administrators believe the wing will be open in the summer of 2020.
