Sutter Roseville opens $27M cancer center: 6 notes

The new $27 million Sutter Roseville (Calif.) Cancer Center opened last Tuesday, the Press Tribune reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. The new center is 60,000 square feet and three stories tall.

2. Patients can receive several services at the center, including infusion, oncology and support services. It also includes an outpatient surgery center.

3. Former Sutter Roseville patients Calvin and Gail Smith donated $1 million to the new center.

4. The infusion center features 42 infusion bays with heated chairs and four rooms with beds. It also has a dedicated pharmacy.

5. The surgery center is 14,000 square feet and also contains the center’s medical laboratory.

6. The hospital adding a holistic healing center to the property which will include several conference rooms and a healing garden.
