Surgery Partners closes $792M Symbion acquisition

Surgery Partners, a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital, has completed the $792 million acquisition of Symbion, according to PE HUB report.

The now combined businesses are expected to generate more than $900 million in annual revenues, according to the report. The company operates ambulatory surgery centers in 26 states, partners with more than 2,400 physicians and providers care to upwards of 500,000 patients each year.

Jeffries acted as Surgery Partners’ financial advisor during the transaction and Morgan Stanley served as financial advisor to Symbion.
