Three insights:
1. Stamford ASC’s physician-owners were also owners of ONS, which is fully controlled by a Connecticut-licensed physician.
2. Stamford ASC and ONS planned to begin the transfer after receiving the Office of Health Strategy’s determination that no certificate of need was required. OHS gave that determination April 25.
3. The reorganization won’t change Stamford ASC’s service offerings or payer mix. It will remain entirely physician-owned.
