Shriners Hospitals for Children prepares for relocation plans featuring 2 ASCs — 4 highlights

Los Angeles-based Shriners Hospitals for Children will participate in the Rose Parade on Jan. 2, 2017, as the hospital prepares for its new Shriners for Children Medical Center in Pasadena, Calif., according to Pasadena Now.

Here are four highlights:

1. In June 2015, Shriners for Children Medical Center announced it is moving to Pasadena, Calif.

2. The new location will include two ASCs, 20 outpatient clinic examination rooms and three fitting rooms for prosthetics and orthotics.

3. It will also house six PACU suites as well as departments for onsite radiology, child life, pharmacy and care coordination.

4. Shriners expects to complete the Pasadena location in June 2017.
