Rush medical center, orthopedics group propose new ambulatory center

Rush University Medical Center and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, both in Chicago, have proposed building a new ambulatory care center in Oak Brook, Ill., according to a Chicago Tribune report.

Representatives from the medical center and orthopedics group presented the plan for the four-story facility to the Oak Brook Village Board this week, according to the report.

The 95,000-square-foot facility would house an ambulatory surgery center, medical office space, athletic program space, rehabilitation services and more.
