Here are three things to know about AmSurg’s recent acquisition.
1. The ASC company acquired Bay Area Anesthesia in Tampa, Fla.
2. The anesthesia group has three locations and two ASCs. The locations are affiliated with BayCare Health System, based in Clear Water, Fla. The ASCs are jointly owned by AmSurg and BayCare, according to the report.
3. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
