Resurgens Orthopaedics to open Georgia surgery center, HCA shares fall 1.2% & more — 5 ASC company notes

Georgia-based Resurgens Orthopaedics is strengthening its outpatient presence and opening a new surgery center in Fayetteville, Ga., in summer 2017. The ASC has overnight observation capabilities.

RBC Capital Markets lowered Toronto-based Medical Facilities Corp.’s price target to $20. The company’s market cap totals $540.08 million.

Greenwood Village, Colo.-based Envision Healthcare’s American Medical Response is teaming with Lyft for medical patient transportation.

Nashville, Tenn.-based AmSurg Partner David Novick, MD, of Kettering, Ohio-based Digestive Endoscopy Center, is releasing a book to educate the public on gastroenterological issues and nutritional guidelines for optimum GI health.

Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America shares traded at $87.90, a 1.2 percent drop, during the week of April 3 to April 7.
