Presidio Surgery Center eyes expansion to meet increased TJR demand — 4 key notes

San Francisco-based Presidio Surgery Center is debating a possible expansion, Hoodline reports.

Here's what you should know:

1. The center's current space is 13,000 square feet. The center is eyeing a 34,590-square-foot space also in San Francisco, which formerly served as a grocery store.

2. The center argued its current location does not have enough space to "meet demand for ambulatory surgery service." The center offers outpatient total joint replacement services, and is seeing increased demand for its services.

3. The property holder of the new location, has authorized a lawfirm to begin planning for the possible transaction.

4. The center believes the move would increase access to its outpatient total joint replacement services.
