One-third of ASCs plan to execute growth strategies this year, according to 2018 data from the Health Industry Distributors Association.
Three insights:
1. Among the ASCs planning expansion, 50 percent intend to expand existing ASC facilities.
2. Forty-three percent of those planning to expand will focus on building new ASCs.
3. Fourteen percent of those ASCs intending to expand plan to remodel current facilities.
