According to a Bloomberg report, the United States is the third most popular for medical exchanges, but destination is dependent on what the patient is seeking. The most appropriate procedures for medical exchange include bariatrics, joint replacement, cosmetic surgery and cancer treatment.

“As the global healthcare landscape continues to evolve, opportunities for medical exchanges are continuing to grow,” wrote Mr. Miller. “It’ll be up to us, and our patients, to first teach people the merits of medical exchange and then show them how they can take full advantage of the opportunities at hand.”
