Northside Hospital plans $29M outpatient surgery relocation — 4 facts

Sandy Springs, Ga.-based Northside Hospital filed a letter of intent to shift outpatient surgery services to its new building in Midtown, Ga., Atlanta Business Chronicle reports.

Here are four facts:

1. The relocation is expected to cost $29 million.

2. Northside plans to move three operating rooms and one procedure room to its 169,000-square-foot, $84 million medical building in Midtown, Ga., which opened earlier this year.

3. Northside will close and relocate other operating rooms but declined to tell Atlanta Business Chronicle which ones.

4. In July, Northside proposed a $14 million imaging center in Canton, Ga.
