Gastro Health acquires largest private practice in Orlando — 4 insights

Miami-based Gastro Health is entering the central Florida market by acquiring Orlando's largest private gastroenterology group, Central Florida Gastroenterology.

Here's what you should know:

1. Central Florida Gastroenterology's nine office locations and two endoscopy centers are staffed by eight physicians and six advanced practitioners.

2. The acquisition will allow Gastro Health to grow its Central Florida presence and provide residents more options for care.

3. Central Florida Gastroenterology Managing Partner Avanish Aggarwal, MD, said in a release, "We believe this collaboration will have an immediate and positive impact on our patient community.
