New Texas MOB to house surgery center

A new, $11 million medical office building is planned for a site near South Texas Medical Center in San Antonio, according to a San Antonio Business Journal report.

The new, two-story facility will encompass approximately 36,000 square feet with the possibility of the expansion to three floors. A 9,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center would be housed in the building.

Texas Bariatric Specialists intends to occupy 13,000 square feet of the MOB.
