The ASC, along with a dialysis center and women and children’s center, is included in the new Ambulatory Care Pavilion and Atrium, also known as “The Center for Community Health and Wellness,” which is expected to serve close to 350,000 outpatients annually.
The building is targeted to open in 2012.
The project is part of a five year, $1.2 billion plan to renovate and upgrade all of New York City’s Health and Hospital Corp.’s facilities, according to the release.
