New Hampshire ASC receives approval for 1.7k-sq-ft expansion: 5 things to know

Bedford (N.H.) Ambulatory Surgical Center received approval to expand and renovate its facility, according to New Hampshire Union Leader.

Here are five things to know:

1. The ASC resides in the Bedford Medical Park, a medical campus.

2. The surgery center will add 1,736 square feet and will replace an existing supply and reprocessing area.

3. The building’s planners will renovate the building’s east end, including changing the medical office into a surgery center. Planners are adding two operating rooms and seven prep and recovery bays.

4. Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center’s surgeons have performed more than 120,000 procedures.

5. The ASC offers orthopedics, general surgery, otolaryngology, plastics, urology, podiatry, cosmetic surgery, pain management and gastroenterology services.
