Here are four recent ASC acquisitions and partnerships announced in June 2017.

Montecito Medical Real Estate acquired Flowood, Miss.-based NewSouth NeuroSpine Building, which includes a surgery center.

Global Medical REIT made a series of acquisitions between March 31 and May 26, including Flower Mound, Texas-based Lone Star Endoscopy Center.

St. Paul, Minn.-based HealthEast and Minneapolis, Minn.-based Summit Orthopedics formed a deal that gave HealthEast a minority interest in Summit’s Vadnais Heights (Minn.) Surgery Center.

After facing competition from Minneapolis-based Fairview Health Services, Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health opted to invest $14 million into expansion. With part of the investment, Essential Health will buy a minority ownership stake in Grand Rapids, Minn.-based Lakewood Surgery Center.
