New Bradley ASC may move orthopedics in 2 years

The ambulatory surgery center that opened last month at the Hospital of Central Connecticut’s Bradley campus could move its orthopedics service line to a new location in Cheshire, Conn. in two years, according to a report from the Record-Journal.

The information came to the paper from surgeons associated with the center, though a spokeswoman for Hartford Healthcare had no comment on whether the center would move its orthopedic surgery to a Cheshire location.

“It is too soon for us to tell if orthopedic surgery in particular will be provided (at Bradley) or somewhere else in the years to come, but, if orthopedic surgery moved several years from now, we would provide other types of ambulatory surgical procedures at the Bradley location,” said the spokeswoman.
