Mercy Health to Acquire, Convert Cincinnati Surgery Center

Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, will acquire the Surgery Center of Cincinnati and convert it into the Mercy Health – Eastgate Medical Center, according to a FOX 19 report.

The Eastgate Medical Center will feature four operating room sand will offer more than 30 specialties the chance to provide surgery or treatment for orthopedics, pain management, podiatry, gastroenterology and urology, among others.

The medical center will also include physician offices and will eventually add physical therapy care, occupational health and urgent care. All procedures and appointments scheduled at the surgery center prior to the acquisition by Mercy Health will continue as planned.
