Mercy Health’s $56.3M project to include surgery center: 4 things to know

Cincinnati-based Mercy Health set its sights on a new medical facility in Perrysburg, Ohio, according to Sentinel-Tribune.

Here are four things to know:

1. The facility will add a surgery center, a hospital and medical offices to the health system’s existing Perrysburg Medical Center.

2. Mercy Health expects the project to total $56.3 million.

3. Over the next five years, the health system projects the facility will create more than 200 new jobs in the region.

4. Perrysburg Medical Center currently employs 47 full-time employees.
