Mercy Health-Fairfield Hospital’s ASC undergoes renovations — 4 points

Mercy Health-Fairfield (Ohio) Hospital has undertaken a surgical renovation project totaling $14 million, including work on its ASC, according to Journal-News.

1. The hospital will redesign Mercy Ambulatory Surgery Center’s entrance and driveway to help improve patients’ access to the facility.

2. Mercy Health-Fairfield Hospital is also co-locating its inpatient and outpatient endoscopy services through its 36,300-square-foot interior renovation and 3,000-square-foot expansion.

3. The hospital is adding on to its spine intervention center as demand for these services increases.

4. Mercy Health-Fairfield Hospital expects to complete the renovations in fall 2017.
