Here’s what you should know:
1. The 46,000-square-foot facility will offer orthopedics, spine, sports medicine, physiatry, pain management and rehabilitation services.
2. Surgeons will be able to perform total knee and hip replacements at the ASC. The ASC’s two operating rooms and procedure room are scheduled to open in fall 2017.
3. MedStar is condensing services from four regional hospitals and offering them through the center. Twenty-six physicians will practice out of the facility.
