Here’s what you should know:
1. Surgical case volume increased 14.9 percent. Revenue per case also rose because of the higher proportion of complex cases.
2. Medical Facilities Corp. increased its EBITDA 22.2 percent year-over-year to $23.1 million.
3. The company announced dividends of $0.07 per share.
4. Medical Facilities Interim CEO Jeffrey Lozon said in a release the company “showed growth across all key metrics.” He highlighted several facets of the second quarter, including the introduction of a new orthopedic care team, the acquisition of Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Prairie States Surgical Center and the addition of several physicians.
5. Mr. Lonzon anticipates Medical Facilities will continue to grow throughout the second half of 2017.
