McKay-Dee Hospital to break ground on orthopedics, surgery center: 4 things to know

McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, plans to break ground on a new orthopedics and surgery center, according to a Standard Examiner report. Here are four things to know about the new center.

1. The new, 82,000-square-foot center will be located on the site of the old McKay-Dee Hospital.

2. The center will house six operating rooms, a physician clinic, physical therapy services, imaging center, pharmacy and bistro, according to the report.

3. The project will cost $27 million. The Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Foundation contributed $2 million in funding.

4. The facility is slated for completion by July 2016.
