1. New York City-based Frontier Healthcare played an integral role in opening the center in 2011 and currently offers management services.
2. Before an ASC can apply for its permanent licensure, the ASC must operate with a “limit life licensure” during the center’s first five years of operation.
3. Manhattan Endoscopy Center offers diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal endoscopic services such as colonoscopies, upper endoscopies and endoscopic ultrasounds.
4. More than 29 gastroenterologists offer services at the surgery center.
5. Since it opened its doors in 2011, Manhattan Endoscopy Center has participated in a community outreach program, in which it has established referral relationships with various charitable healthcare organizations and federally qualified health centers.
