Portland-based Maine Medical Center received approval from the Scarborough (Maine) Planning Board to invest $59 million in a new medical office building in Scarborough, which is expected to be completed in 2021, the Press Herald reports.
What you should know:
1. The medical office building will be 108,000 square feet.
2. Once complete, the building will offer neurology, neurosurgery and spine, ENT, rehabilitation medicine, and vascular surgery services.
3. The building will be on a healthcare campus in Scarborough and will complement several other medical practices, including Scarborough Surgery Center.
