Lake Regional Hospital opens surgery center to strengthen outpatient services remodel: 4 notes

Osage Beach, Mo.-based Lake Regional Hospital opened the Lake Regional Diagnostic and Surgery Center in Osage Beach as part of the hospital’s outpatient services remodel, according to Lake News Online.

Here are four notes:

1. The hospital is launching its outpatient services remodel in August. The new center is part of this strategy which aims to improve patient privacy and comfort in addition to meet growing demand for outpatient services.

2. On July 10, the diagnostic and surgery center opened its doors.

3. Lake Regional Diagnostic and Surgery Center offers outpatient services such as colonoscopies, EGD-upper scores, esophageal manometry and flexible sigmoidoscopy, among others.

4. Referring physicians direct patients to the cetner. The center plans on giving patients a pre-registration call, detailing information about the procedure’s location.
