1. The clinic will be in the shell of a former Walgreens, which will require major renovation.
2. Lafayette Pain Center is moving from its current location because of space constraints. Clinic administrators were either going to have to renovate a current structure or build an entirely new clinic. After meeting with city officials, they decided to renovate the former Walgreens.
3. Lafayette Pain Center operates three other facilities across the state.
