Kernersville Endoscopy Center proposes new ASC

Kernersville (N.C.) Endoscopy Center submitted a certificate-of-need application to shift two endoscopy rooms from its Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Piedmont Endoscopy Center to a proposed ASC in Kernersville, Triad Business Journal reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The project is expected to cost more than $1.3 million.

2. In its application, Kernersville is requesting an expedited review because of the noncompetitive nature of the project.

3. The centers are affiliated with Digestive Health Specialists of Winston-Salem.
