IN Surgery Center in Portage Hospital Completes Expansion

Porter Health System, based in Valparaiso, Ind., has announced the completed expansion of Shoreline Surgery Center located in Porter’s Portage (Ind.) Hospital, according to a news release.

The $2.5 million expansion of Shoreline Surgery Center doubled the number of operating room suites from two to four and the new suites are larger to allow for more technically advanced procedures.

 

The expansion also saw square footage was added to accommodate four new post-operative patient care areas.

 

The grand opening of the expanded surgery center will be held April 12.
