HealthCare Appraisers now offering healthcare real estate valuation

HealthCare Appraisers, Inc. (“HAI”) is pleased to announce the expansion of its healthcare valuation services to include real estate, in addition to its existing valuation services offerings for compensation and services arrangements, healthcare entities and transactions, and fixed asset appraisals.

To head up the real estate valuation group, Jeffrey Piehl, MAI, joined HAI as a Partner in the firm’s Denver office. A 20+ year real estate veteran, Mr. Piehl’s focus is on healthcare properties including medical offices, outpatient diagnostic and treatment centers, and hospitals and other inpatient facilities. Since 2000, Mr. Piehl has been involved in the valuation and consultation of over 750 healthcare properties on a national basis, and has handled consultation assignments with healthcare systems and property owners regarding asset selection for acquisition/disposition as well as site selection for new medical office placement, rental rate disputes and medical office portfolio recapitalizations. Mr. Piehl oversees HAI’s team of real estate professionals, currently including Jacob Roehl, Manager, and Andrew Keller, Analyst.
