HCA hospital to relocate Tennessee surgery center

Hospital Corporation of America’s TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn., plans to relocate an outpatient surgery center to a recently acquired property in Brentwood, Tenn., according to a report by The Tennessean.

The property, acquired by HCA in August, will also be home to the hospital’s planned $11 million freestanding emergency center.

The 18,000-square-foot relocated surgery center is expected to have 22 full-time employees. The center could open in 2016.
