Greenville Health plans new surgery center: 4 insights

The Spartanburg, S.C.-based Greenville Health System is planning a new surgery center in Spartanburg, the Upstate Business Journal reports.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Health system administrators said the GHS Surgery Center will open in April 2017.

2.The center will be 4,120 square feet and feature two operating rooms.

3. The center will offer patients gastrointestinal, general surgery, ophthalmology, podiatry and pain services.

4. Administrators earmarked space for future additions to the center, if needed.
